Discovery Services Group now provides intern programs in it's business units. The programs are designed
to provide opportunity for teenagers in our communities to earn community service hours while also learning about the Special
Needs community.
Teenagers must apply for intern programs
with the Discovery Services Group through a local non-profit organization, such as R.E.A.C.H. Non-Profit Corporation or the
Friendship Circle; teenagers accepted into the intern programs will have the opportunity to work in a variety of environments
with children who have special needs. This exposure may help some of the teenagers to select a career path different
from what they have felt was available to them, providing our communities and our society with the next generation of special
needs teachers, therapists, psychologists and doctors.
Teenagers,
parents or schools interested in learning more about this program should contact tonya@bmodfitness.com for more information and/or to arrange an interview with Tonya Bennett.
